One of the biggest challenges faced by engineers is accurate temperature measurement within a physical component. Thermocouples offer a high level of accuracy; however, there is little or no way of knowing if you are measuring the hottest point of your prototype.

At our Custom Services for Magnetic Components centre we have the thermal imaging technology and laboratory facilities to test and develop your component design.

Using thermal imaging, we can validate your designs efficiently by identifying hot spots and establishing how thermal radiation is affecting surrounding components and housing. We can quickly find the critical areas of your design at the prototype stage and, if necessary, suggest and make corrections to the design to improve its performance, efficiency and reliability.
