Molypermalloy (MPP) cores feature outstanding magnetic characteristics and offer the lowest core losses of any powder core material. MPP cores are the perfect choice where high Q and high inductance stability under adverse magnetic and environmental conditions are needed. Applications for MPP cores include; flyback transformers, buck/boost and power factor correction (PFC), inductors, in-line noise filters, high Q filters, and resonant circuits.

- High range of available permeabilities: µ=14 to µ=550
- Wide range of toroidal cores available (outer diameter 4 - 165mm)
- Super low core loss
- Very high Curie temperature
- A small shift in permeability with temperature
- A small shift in saturation with temperature
- Reversibility of temperature effects
