uMP Series – Configurable, power dense multi-output power supplies

Artesyn’s uMP series rivals the cost of non-configurable power supplies while providing market-leading density, efficiency, reliability and agency approvals. This range is designed for a wide range of medical, military and industrial applications. It offers up to 1800W and can be configured for up to 12 outputs, both multiple and nonstandard.

iHP – Configurable, intelligent multi-output high power system

Designed for a wide range of medical and industrial applications, Artesyn’s iHP configurable intelligent power system provides accuracy, resolution and stability as either a programmable voltage or current source. It offers up to 24 kW in 3 kW increments and can be configured for up to 8 outputs using a wide variety of plug-in modules that address a large range of voltages and currents.

Artesyn Embedded Power offers the LCC series of fanless, fully enclosed AC-DC power supplies. With IP64 protection against the ingress of dust and water, wide operating temperature range and extensive protection against fault conditions, these products are ideal for demanding sealed box and outdoor applications.

With the absence of cooling fans which may increase dust and audible noise levels, and with full medical safety or industrial approvals, the LCC series can also be used for indoor applications including medical and aviation equipment. It is also applicable for high uptime and difficult to service equipment where fan failures can be costly. A universal AC input enables them to be used almost anywhere in the world. Customers have a choice of two mounting and cooling orientations: conduction or convection.

ERM – high performance isolated DC-DC modules for rail

Artesyn’s ERM series are specifically designed to meet the power demands and safety standard requirements of railway rolling stock applications. An advanced circuit topology gives Artesyn’s ERM family a very high efficiency of up to 92 percent. Their encapsulated in a compact quarter-brick form factor with metal baseplate to protect the module from atmospheric conditions without requiring an additional coating.

The ERM family includes a reinforced insulation system to meet the general specification of high voltage input and low voltage output. Combined with high EMC immunity, ensures these dc-dc converters are ideal for the many demanding applications in railway and transport.

    - Output options: 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, or 24 V
    - Input ranges of 43 Vdc to 101 Vdc (72 Vdc nominal) or 66 Vdc to 160 Vdc (110 Vdc nominal)
  • Wide operating temperature: 40 to 85°C with derating

  • Complies with the railway industry specifications:

LGA – digital DC-DC converters

Artesyn's digital DC/DC converters are extremely flexible and configurable with 2 independent outputs that can be enabled, adjusted, configured, monitored and controlled autonomously or can be connected to create 1 single output.

Both analog control and digital control functions are available, so converters can be controlled with resistors or controlled and monitored by using the industry-standard PMBus digital interface. This range are ideal for applications such as graphics, data or video processing, using high power devices, such as server processors, FPGAs, supercomputers, network, storage and telecom equipment.
