New paper: Direct modelling of inductor saturation behaviour in a SPICE-like transient analysis

Paul Winkler’s paper “Direct modelling of Inductor Saturation Behaviour in a SPICE-like Transient Analysis Now available to download, is Paul Winkler’s paper “Direct modelling of Inductor Saturation Behaviour in a SPICE-like Transient Analysis”, presented in Rome at the 7th ICSMO, 16-19 February 2019.

In this paper, we demonstrate a simple way to include saturation behaviour (given as any mathematical formula or by several measurement points), as a software function, into the mathematical description of an electric circuit. Allowing designers to gain more accurate results, when a material’s inductance behaviour is strongly affected by high levels of current and when a constant value is inaccurate.
